Mobius Foundation

The 'Youth for Earth' campaign aims to provide a unique platform for young leaders to showcase their innovative projects and ideas, fostering a community that actively contributes to a sustainable and resilient future. The International Conference on Sustainability Education 2024 is offering recognition and honours to projects that meet specified criteria. The campaign is open to entries from all over South Asia with the main objective of promoting sustainable practices among youth and creating a lasting impact.

In 2024, the 5th iteration of Y4E campaign will focus on "Greening Education for a Sustainable Future" which is the overarching theme of the 6th ICSE and acknowledges the imperative to reorient educational practices and systems towards environmental consciousness and long-term sustainability.

The Youth for Earth (Y4E) campaign was launched in 2020 as a partnership between the Mobius Foundation and The Climate Project Foundation. The campaign aims to celebrate and promote the efforts of young people who are making a positive impact on their surroundings, communities, states, nations, and humanity as a whole. It is built upon the success and experiences of youth engagement at the 1st International Conference of Sustainability Education held in 2019.

The campaign recognizes the significant role that youth plays in driving positive change to address the climate crisis, utilizing education as a crucial tool. The Youth for Earth Campaign has witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 500 youth-led projects in the past and is now back with renewed vigour in 2024, marking its fifth version.
